What Services we Offer
Residential Treatment (RTC) clients receive therapy in a residential setting in Southern California. In RTC, a client can focus on their treatment and safely process it 24/7. Our clinicians “meet you where you are” and customize treatment unique to each client. In addition to process groups and psychodrama, clients regularly visit a psychiatrist and therapist throughout their treatment. Additionally, family immersion sessions are available when clinically appropriate. La Ventana mental health treatment Thousand Oaks southern California accommodates, gender specific trauma treatment, LGBTQIA+ mental health treatment, and co-ed mental health treatment.
Who is RTC right for?
Residential treatment is right for those who have recently been discharged by an inpatient hospital or who have escalated beyond the scope of care for an outpatient program.
Partial Hospitalization Program
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) clients participate in daily group therapy with several groups per day in our PHP Program and two groups per day in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Each client also receives individual therapy sessions with their lead therapist as well as meetings with the psychiatrist to address mental health issues and monitor any psychotropic medication management needed. Mental Health Prevention is addressed through engaging educational workshops on stress, coping skills, symptom management, relationships, and assertiveness training. Our philosophy is to blend continuous, intensive and structure care in a system of support, guidance, and education. Our Santa Monica Office Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers comprehensive and individualized holistic treatment for mental health beginning in the afternoon. This comprehensive program offers six days a week of programming Monday through Saturday with Sundays off for continued self-care.
Who is a Partial Hospitalization Program best for?
PHP is ideal for clients who have come from an inpatient setting who are able to maintain their independence in the community or those who need more mental health counseling support than offered in part-time or traditional outpatient treatment. It’s a great transitional step between inpatient and part-time outpatient treatment programs. This is a full-time program.
Intensive Outpatient Program
Our Santa Monica office Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) office offers a comprehensive program offering six days a week in either the afternoon or evening to accommodate a variety of schedules and treatment needs. This comprehensive program begins at six days a week Monday through Saturday with Sundays off for continued self-care.
Who is an Intensive Outpatient Program Best for?
IOP is ideal for treating certain mental health conditions and may be suitable for people experiencing mild to moderate symptoms or who need an intermediate level of support before they leave treatment. Intensive mental health therapy and treatment is limited to only a few hours three days a week. It offers many of the same benefits of full-time treatment without time away from other responsibilities. It can be thought of as part-time therapy while PHP is full-time.
Our Santa Monica office offers a variety of groups for both PHP and IOP programs tailored to client needs including a process group, stress management, music therapy, yoga therapy, rediscovering self, anger management, self-esteem, health and wellness, dialectical behavioral therapy, emotional regulation, trauma therapy, healthy relationships, health communication, cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy, assert yourself, life skills, mindfulness, self-care, and more. We offer a multi- family group on a weekly basis for client’s and their family member to learn healthy communication and interaction skills to assist clients and their family member’s to work together in integrating acquired life skills into their daily lives. The group is also designed to allow a safe environment for family members to share their feelings and emotions within a community and to psychoeducate group members on relevant topics.
