La Ventana’s treatment centers in Thousand Oaks and Agoura Hills offer comprehensive care for clients seeking long-lasting solutions to mental illness and substance abuse disorders. The Phases of Treatment We Provide

Here is an overview of the phases of treatment we provide here at La Ventana. Many of our clients use several of these treatment options during their stays with us.

Medically-Managed Residential Sub-Acute Detoxification Services (Detox)

This phase of treatment involves removing the harmful substances from the clients and managing their withdrawal symptoms with appropriate medications. During this process, the client will stay at one of our residential treatment centers in Thousand Oaks on a 24-hour basis for the duration of the treatment.

Residential Treatment Centers (RTC)

La Ventana’s RTCs give clients an environment that is safe – both physically and emotionally – where they can focus on their long-term recovery. During this process, the client will stay at one of our treatment centers in Thousand Oaks on a 24/7 basis and receive a combination of therapy and medication individually specified for the client’s mental disorders and the root causes responsible for them.

Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP)

La Ventana’s PHP’s involve several therapy sessions five days per weeks, Monday – Friday, as well as one-on-one sessions with therapists. During a PHP, clients can either reside in housing that we provide, or they can live in their own residences and can attend virtual treatment.

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)

La Ventana’s IOP’s are available five days per week, Monday – Friday, 9am – 12:30pm. During an IOP, clients live in their own residences as they continue their transition back into their normal lives.
